Join the Challenge!

The #CEDMaskChallenge is a photo campaign where everyone can show off their masks. To participate, take a selfie or have someone take a picture of you wearing your mask. Then post it to your Facebook, Twitter or Instagram account and make sure to use the #CEDMaskChallenge.

The WVU Center for Excellence in Disabilities (WVUCED) is working with partners around the state to help distribute educational materials and equipment to West Virginians with disabilities and their families about the importance of protecting themselves against COVID-19. If you are an agency in West Virginia that can help distribute 10 PPE kits to families that have an individual with a disability and a child in their household, apply online at https://cedwvu.wufoo.com/forms/ppe-kit-interest-form/. We have planned to distribute 10 kits per county in West Virginia and counties are filling up fast!

Participating in the #CEDMaskChallenge can help individuals with disabilities feel included in advocating for this important public health issue as well as assist in normalizing the behavior of wearing a mask. We hope that you will participate today and often to keep the momentum going!

This project is possible with funding from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation through the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation.
