The program connects families with children with disabilities or special healthcare needs to trained, volunteer support parents.
Wednesday, April 9, 2025

Parent to Parent (P2P) of West Virginia is a new program that connects parents and caregivers of children with disabilities or special healthcare needs. Through P2P, families are paired with trained, volunteer parents who have walked a similar path and understand the challenges and joys of raising a child with special healthcare needs.
We’re excited to invite you to a virtual information session on Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 10-11 a.m. via Zoom. During the session, you’ll learn about P2P of West Virginia and our national partner, Parent to Parent USA. We’ll talk about the many ways this program can support families, explain the different roles parents can take, and share how you can join or help others connect with the program. There will also be time for a Q&A at the end, so you can get all your questions answered!
One continuing education credit (CEU) is available for social workers who attend.
The session is free, and everyone is welcome!
