Holiday Donation fundraiser running through December 14

WBOY 12 News shined the spotlight on the Mentoring with Oversight for Developing Independence in Foster Youth (MODIFY) program Holiday Donation fundraiser on Friday, December 8.
"A lot of the times when a youth will age out of a foster system, they don't have any family that can help assist them to navigate what to do in adult life," said MODIFY Community Support Specialist Mark Liptrap during his interview for the story.
The Holiday Donation fundraiser provides youth in the MODIFY program who have aged out of foster care with gift cards to brighten their holiday season. Many of these young people do not have homes or families to turn to for support.
Donations will be accepted until December 15, 2023.
