Vocational Rehabilitation
Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) is a federal/state program that helps individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities with work-related needs by offering individualized plans for employment, job training, job placement, and coaching. Administration for Community Living (ACL)
Provides support nationwide for individuals with disabilities in areas of employment with a focus on independence. The ACL coordinates the statewide independent living councils (SILC), which develop state plans for independent living to help improve independent living services, including those for employment, for individuals with disabilities.

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E) program
This program provides services to help with job training, education, employment accommodations, resume development, job-seeking skills, and coaching. Other services may be provided to assist veterans and service members in starting their own businesses or independent living services for those who are severely disabled and unable to work in traditional employment.
