CED and Augusta Levy introduce new Wheeling support group for parents of children with disabilities
New monthly Circle of Parents group begins July 16 in Wheeling

A new in-person Circle of Parents support group will be starting on July 16, 2024 at the Augusta Levy Learning Center in Wheeling, WV. The group will continue to meet monthly on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 2:30 p.m. to share information, resources, laughter and support.
Circle of Parents support groups provide friendly, supportive environments led by parents and other caregivers. It’s a place where anyone in a parenting role can openly discuss the successes and challenges of raising children with special health care needs and/or disabilities. It’s a place where they can find and share support.
Please join us! By attending the Circle of Parents support group, you will:
- Be a part of a supportive community of parents and caregivers.
- Discuss the challenges and successes of parenting children with special health care needs, share ideas and network with others in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
- Learn about local resources and opportunities to support your family.
Please register in advance to help us plan space and materials.
Childcare may be available to those families who request it at least one week in advance.

This support group is a partnership between the Augusta Levy Learning Center and the Paths for Parents program at the West Virginia University Center for Excellence in Disabilities.
