Undergraduate and graduate-level students complete educational and clinical experiences at the CED North location in Morgantown, West Virginia, including academic coursework, clinical rotations, observations and volunteer hours. An undergraduate minor and graduate certificate in Disability Studies (DISB) are offered to WVU students from all disciplines to support disability leadership.

Our 2025-2026 Trainees have supported disability research and participated in disability-related trainings and clinical experiences while using a team-based approach to learn from each other.

Mountain State Conference on Disabilities

A statewide conference that brings together self-advocates, individuals with lived experience, families, professionals, and community leaders to strengthen supports for people with disabilities across the lifespan. The next MSCD happens April 15-17, 2027 at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, WV.
